DESCRIPTION:

Historic Stephen Avenue is the heart and backbone of the city. On this tour, we will complete the Origin Story that the Downtown North or Downtown South tours began. You do not need to take either tour first, but it will enhance your experience, as there are a lot of callbacks to the people discussed in those tours.

DON'T FORGET:

We will cover 1.2kms on this walk. Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring sunscreen or an umbrella if necessary, water, and a snack.

There is no break in the middle for a washroom, so please use a washroom before hand. Your guide can direct you to one in the area before you begin.

Each tour is comprised of different people, as such we cannot guarantee the length of the tour. Some groups ask more questions, some groups walk at slower paces, and some groups take longer at break to return. Therefore, some tours go longer than 2 hours, and some are shorter.

Reservations are not necessary. Walk-ups are welcome. However, our guides are busy and we do not want to waste their time, so tours do require 2 reservations 12 hours prior to the start time of the tour for the tour to commence. We recommend strongly that you make a reservation. Reservations also allow us to put on more guides if the demand requires it so we can keep tour group sizes smaller.
